Liberty Tree Memorial
Liberty Elm in Roselawn Park
A crew from the Cincinnati Recreation Commission (CRC) planted the American Liberty Elm awarded to the City of Cincinnati in Roselawn Park in May 2009.  Three municipalities in SW Ohio received grants for Liberty Tree Memorials from Elm Research Institute this Spring:  the City of Cincinnati, Amberley Village, and the Village of Golf Manor.  The three communities will jointly celebrate the installation of their Liberty Tree Memorials at French Park in October.

For more information on the Liberty Tree Memorial Program, and the story of the original Boston Liberty Tree and its role in the American Revolution, visit the Elm Research Institute website.
